SSL installation: how to install Security Certificate

If you got Security Certificate from WestNIC

1. Please login to Support Desk. If you have never used Support desk before, please register: https://support.westnic.net/index.php?_m=core&_a=register
2. Under "General Support" please request dedicated IP. Don't forget to include your domain name where you wish to install SSL.
3. Please submit ANOTHER support ticket under "General Support" with following information:

• a) domain name for SSL installation. NOTE: Geotrust SSL Certificates can only be used on Web servers hosting the Common Name specified during enrollment. For example, an SSL Certificate for the domain "domain.com" will receive a warning if accessing a site named "www.domain.com" or "secure.domain.com", because "www.domain.com" and "secure.domain.com" are different from "domain.com". Please choose domain or subdomain carefully! NEVER use "www.subdomain.domain.com" unless you have third level domain name (for example, secure.mydomain.com.au)
• b) Company name (commercial sites only) or Site Name (non-commercial sites)
• c) Full Address
• d) Phone Number
• e) Company Division (for example, "Sales" or "Support")
• f) Email Address

Please note: extra dedicated IP will cost $1.49 per month. You can get extra Security Certificate for only $49.00 per YEAR (regular price $69.00). This is true root security certificate and will not be shared with any other domain names (we do not recommend to use cheap shared certificates).

You purchased Security Certificate somewhere else

1. Please login to Support Desk
2. Under "General Support" please request dedicated IP. Don't forget to include your domain name where you wish to install SSL.
3. IP will be assigned within 24-48 hours. Please send us your Private Key and Security Certificate in PLAIN text file (.txt)
4. We will install your new SSL for $29 (one time fee) within 24-48 hours.
